GOOD FEET FRANCHISE TRAINING

As part of your franchise fee, Good Feet provides new franchisees and their store managers extensive on-going training and support to ensure you are fully equipped with the knowledge and skills to succeed. New franchisees attend and successfully complete our training program which includes seven days on-site instruction at the Good Feet Franchise Support Center prior to the opening of your first Good Feet location.  This hands-on program, taught by a team of Good Feet professionals, will educate you in inventory purchasing and management, product knowledge, foot anatomy and terminology, sales techniques, media negotiation and management, and store operations.  You will also learn proper arch support fitting techniques and Good Feet customer service standards.   

Additionally, Good Feet provides an extensive on-line training certification program for franchisees and their salespeople. Through this exclusive training program, salespeople learn proper fitting techniques, product line knowledge, basic anatomy, sales procedures, and customer service follow-up methods.  Salespeople who successfully complete the on-line training program become Good Feet Certified Associates. 

Franchisees enjoy continued training and support through Good Feet’s Field Support Representatives and consultants as needed. Good Feet also hosts an annual franchise convention and works with a franchisee elected Franchise Advisory Council throughout the year as opportunities and questions arise. Advisory Council members are available to provide franchise support via telephone and franchisee website message boards.  

One of the biggest factors for success with Good Feet is advertising.  Good Feet Store owners invest a significant amount into local advertising in their market, including TV, radio, print, billboards and direct mail.  Some manage their own media expenditures and some employ an agent, but most Good Feet Stores advertise everyday!

GOOD FEET LOCATION & DESIGN

Good Feet Stores are typically between 900-1200 square feet in size, and can be located in a strip center or mall location.  Our Franchise Support Center is here to help you every step of the way—from site approval to store décor to opening day and beyond.

Good Feet stores have an atmosphere that is inviting and relaxing for customers.  Commonly referred to as a “living room” approach, our sales floors are cozy and comfortable, featuring couches, foliage, display tables with lamps, and Good Feet wall murals.  Store colors include yellow hues and red and blue accents.   While every Good Feet Store is similar in décor, our store owners “localize” their showrooms to reflect the lifestyle of the area in which their store is located.
