Specifically, Morton’s Neuroma is a swollen, inflamed nerve in the foot, is more common in women and can be a result of wearing high heels or tight shoes.

HOW TO RECOGNIZE IT:

Morton’s Neuroma symptoms are often characterized by the feeling of constantly "walking on a marble," or persistent/ "burning" sharp pain on the bottom of the foot, or pain in the ball of the foot. Odd sensations or numbness over the ball of the foot are common symptoms as well.
