GOOD FEET ANNOUNCES NEW ARCH SUPPORT PRODUCT LINE FOR CHILDREN AGES 6 AND OLDER

Carlsbad, Calif., April 24, 2008    The Good Feet Stores, a California based franchise and retailer of custom-fitted arch supports and natural sponge rubber cushions, announced today that it has added a new line of arch supports designed specifically for children ages 6 and older.  Two new arch supports, the “EnduraFlex” and the “SportFlex,” are now currently available at participating Good Feet Stores nationwide.  

The introduction of this new product line was a result of tremendous consumer demand from Good Feet customers.  “We had literally hundreds of calls each month from parents searching for a support that their child could use during sports activities or in the fashion shoes they love to wear, which can offer little to no support,” said Good Feet President David Workman.  “We worked with doctors and advisors for many years to create these products that provide the right amount of support to growing feet.  It was imperative to us that we manufacture a superior product that meets the needs of today’s young people.”

Carlsbad, Calif., Feb 08, 2007:  The Good Feet Store, a California based franchise and retailer of custom-fitted arch supports and natural sponge rubber cushions, announced today that Emmitt Smith has been signed to a four-year endorsement deal.  Beginning this spring, Smith will star in an advertising campaign for The Good Feet Stores tagged “Good Feet – Insert Comfort Here,” which will include a new infomercial, television and radio commercials and in-store marketing materials and signage.

Smith, who is represented by Octagon, is the NFL’s All-Time leading rusher, a three-time Super Bowl Champion and earned both NFL and Super Bowl MVP honors during his 15-year career.  Many have called him the greatest football player to ever play the game.  Most recently, Smith made headlines off the sports pages when he dazzled millions of fans with his fancy footwork and was voted to the top spot on the hit ABC series Dancing with the Stars.

In fact, it was because of this TV show that Good Feet discovered its new spokesperson.  Sandy Kessler, Franchise Support Manager at Good Feet’s corporate offices in Carlsbad, Calif., was a huge fan of Smith on Dancing with the Stars, voting for him countless times each week.  She noticed Smith frequently complained about his feet hurting and thought he could benefit from Good Feet arch support products.  Good Feet’s corporate team reached out to Smith’s managers, and a short time later, Kessler was visiting Smith at his home in Dallas and custom-fitting him for Good Feet arch supports.  The rest, as they say, is history.
