Dr. Renee Rodriguez Paro is a Board-Certified Pediatric Cardiologist, marathoner, and wellness enthusiast who is passionate about helping others build healthy habits.

Born and raised in Southeastern Arizona, Dr. Paro graduated magna cum laude from Arizona State University after receiving a full scholarship. She attended medical school at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and completed her Pediatric Residency and Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship at Stanford.
Dr. Renee Rodriguez Paro is a Board-Certified Pediatric Cardiologist who cares deeply for kids’ hearts. Dr. Paro currently practices at Palo Alto Medical Foundation in the East Bay area of San Francisco, where she is the Department Chair of Pediatric Cardiology, Pulmonology, and Lipidology as well as a regional leader for the Physician Health and Wellbeing Committee.

Dr. Paro is a proud Latina who loves to dance and has run 11 marathons. She’s incredibly passionate about wellness and has several side projects with her husband John, whom she met in medical school and considers her best friend. Dr. Vegetable is a nonprofit that promotes vegetables and healthy eating in schools with engaging assemblies, activities, videos, and songs. “The Doctors Paro” also host the “Reconciling Medicine” podcast, which explores how they navigate a life in medicine.
As a marathoner, doctor, and wellness enthusiast, Dr. Paro recognizes the importance of lower extremity health. She’s always had flat feet, and she says, “The process of getting my inserts was seamless. I was so well taken care of at my local Good Feet Store! While I was waiting to get fitted I got a foot massage and some water, which was such a dream after my 16-mile run that morning.”
